Rubble skip hire online

You can also order a container for your rubble or ‘clean rubble’ quickly and easily online. Order before 16:00 and it will be at your door the next working day. A clean rubble skip is the cheapest container, because rubble is a single waste type and does not need to be separated. Rubble is a waste type made up of different kinds of stone and is also known as clean rubble. This means it is not contaminated with polluted soil or hazardous waste.

TIP: If you have a lot of rubble and only a small amount of other waste types, it is often cheaper to hire a rubble skip and take the rest to the recycling centre, or to hire a Big Bag for it. Clean rubble skips are available in 3 container sizes: 3m3, 6m3 and even a 15m3 rubble skip. If, besides rubble, you also have a lot of other waste such as wood, plastic, glass etc., you will need a construction and demolition waste skip.

What is rubble?

Rubble, also known as ‘clean rubble’, is a waste type that is produced in large quantities during major renovations such as building an extension, removing a wall or replacing the roof, but also when you renew your paving. It is essentially a waste type derived from stone, such as concrete tiles, bricks, reinforced concrete, roof tiles and garden tiles. All of this can go in a rubble skip.

  • Masonry rubble

  • Hardened leftover concrete and mortar

More about rubble skips

If you look at the list of everything that can go in a rubble skip, you will see that these are all types of stone. Tiles, bricks, clinker bricks and paving slabs all count as “clean rubble”. What is not allowed in a rubble skip? Plaster and aerated concrete are waste types that look a lot like rubble but are not recycled in the same way. That is why these waste types are not allowed in a rubble skip. These waste types fall under construction waste, for this you hire a construction waste skip.

No 10m3 rubble skip

No 10m3 rubble skip? That's right. Rubble is a very heavy waste type. A full skip with 10m3 of clean rubble is too heavy for the skip loader lorry to lift. Instead of the 10m3 skip, a 15m3 rubble skip is available. This skip is delivered by a hook-lift lorry, which can pull more weight. Is a 15m3 rubble skip not big enough? Just get in touch and we'll check whether we have a 20 cubic metre skip available in your area.
