Need a permit for your container?

Do you need a permit to place a container? There's no simple yes or no answer to that. It depends on where the container will be placed and on the municipality. On your own property, you can always place a container without a permit. If the container is going on municipal land, the municipality's rules apply.

Want to place a container in a parking space, on the pavement or on the road? Then we always recommend checking the rules in your municipality. In some municipalities a simple notification is enough, or you only need to ask for permission by phone. In others, you'll need to apply for an exemption or even a permit.
