A quick clear-out or a longer renovation: jobs come in all shapes and sizes. That's why you want the option to hire a skip for one day, a few days or a longer period. Here's how it works.
When you book a hire a skip with ContainerOnline, the waste skip can stay free of rental charges for up to 6 weeks. Is the job taking a bit longer and do you need the skip for longer? No problem. After the 6 weeks, you can simply leave the skip where it is. You then just pay a weekly amount for the skip rental. For skips up to and including 10m3 you pay €15 rent per week. For larger skips (14m3, 15m3, 20m3, 40m3) the weekly rental price is €35. There's no need to extend the skip hire. As long as you don't submit a collection request, the skip simply stays put. Finished with the job? Just submit your collection request using the button in your order confirmation or via this form.
The municipality may also decide how long you can leave the skip in place. This differs per municipality and depends on where your skip is placed. Whether there are rules for placing a skip depends on whether you need a permit to have a waste skip placed.
If you want to place a waste skip on the pavement or in a parking space, many municipalities only require a (free) notification. However, the rules often differ per municipality. In Amsterdam, for example, you have to submit a notification, whereas in Hengelo you don't need to if the skip stays for no more than ten days. For many municipalities, we've looked into whether a permit is needed and what the rules are. Want to be 100% sure? We always recommend giving the municipality a quick call. Do this in good time, as applying for a permit can sometimes take up to two weeks! On your own property, the skip can always stay without a permit for as long as you like. After four weeks, you only pay the weekly rent.
At ContainerOnline, you can quickly and affordably order skips for construction and demolition waste, bulky waste, (clean) rubble, green waste and soil, among other things. Skips ordered today are usually delivered the next working day.
